Vehicle Crashes 15 Feet Into Glenview Medical Building, 1 Taken To Hospital

GLENVIEW, IL — A vehicle crashed about 15 feet into a medical building in Glenview Tuesday morning, prompting emergency crews to evaluate four people for injuries, authorities said.

The Glenview fire and police departments responded at around 10:22 a.m. Sept. 8, to the 1400 block of Waukegan Road for a report of a vehicle that had struck the Advocate Medical Group building.

When emergency personnel arrived, they found the vehicle approximately 15 feet inside the building, according to the Glenview Fire Department.

Four people were evaluated for injuries: two people who had been inside the vehicle and two patrons who were inside the building.

One of the patrons was taken to Glenbrook Hospital for further evaluation.

The fire department did not provide additional information about the person's condition.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
