Village Board Clears Way for New Pizza Restaurant This Summer

MOD Superfast Pizza will open the doors to its Waukegan Road location in June.

GLENVIEW, IL—The Village Board of Trustees approved a liquor license for MOD Superfast Pizza last week, paving the way for the artistan-style pizza chain to open this summer.

The board granted the pizza restaurant a Class B license, meaning MOD's can serve beer and wine at its 1494 Waukegan Road location, according to the board's May 17 meeting report. The restaurant is scheduled to open for business June 30, the Daily North Shore reports.

MOD's also plans to donate its first-day sales to a nonprofit group, according to the report.
