'Village Employee' Who Entered Home to Check Dresser Drawers Was Imposter: Cops
About $500 in personal items were stolen from a car on Tower Road.

On March 16 at 12:25 p.m., Frederick Rivera, 43, Niles was charged with Speeding (26-34 Over the Limit) in the 2300 block of Pfingsten Road.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
On March 15 at 2:38 p.m., a resident in the 2000 block of Valley Lo Lane reported someone entered the residence and stole $300 worth of personal items.

RETAIL THEFT
On March 15 at 5:20 p.m., an employee in the 2200 block of Willow Road reported someone purchased a gift card and merchandise with a stolen credit card. The reported loss is more than $500.
CAR BURGLARY
On March 15 at 8:21 p.m., a patron in the 1800 block of Tower Drive reported someone entered a vehicle and stole personal items. The reported loss is over $500.
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY
On March 19 at 5:13 p.m., a resident of the 2400 block of Saranac Lane reported someone identified themselves as a village employee and entered the house to check the water and dresser drawers were found open after the imposter left. The loss is unknown.
