Woman Wearing Jewel-Osco Vest Steals Liquor: Glenview Police Blotter
The woman filled a shopping cart with liquor, household items and left a store without paying for them, according to police.

Junior Espinoza, 22, of the 3700 block of Cicero Avenue, Chicago, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report a vehicle accident, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and was arrested at 4:15 a.m. April 6, following the investigation of a traffic crash in the 900 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was released on bond.
ASSAULT

Adriana Trevi, 43, of the 1400 block of Plymouth Place, Glenview, is accused of assault, and was arrested at 7:50 p.m. April 6, following the investigation of an incident in the 1400 block of Plymouth Place. She was released on bond.

INCIDENTS
THEFT
An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported that between April 2 and April 4, someone stole cosmetic items from the store.
RETAIL THEFT
- A Des Plaines resident was cited at 10:41 a.m. April 4, under village ordinance for theft following the investigation of an incident at a business in the 1400 block of Waukegan Road. They were given a trespass notice to the business at the request of employees.
- An employee of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard called police at 12:49 p.m. April 4, to report two men and a female gathered liquor bottles and left the store without paying for them. The subjects entered a black four door vehicle and left the area.
- An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 7:08 p.m. April 4, a woman placed sporting equipment into a bag and left the store without paying for them.
- An employee of a business in the 1300 block of Patriot Boulevard reported at 8:35 p.m. April 7, a female, wearing a Jewel Osco employee vest, filled a shopping cart with liquor and household items and left the store without paying for the items. The female entered a dark-color vehicle and left the area.
SPEEDING
- A Glenview resident was cited at 11:47 a.m. April 5, for speeding (26-34 mph over the speed limit), following a traffic stop in the 1400 block of Lehigh Avenue. She was released on bond.
- A Glenview resident was cited at 9:38 a.m. April 7, for speeding 26 mph over the speed limit after a traffic stop in the 3000 block of Sanders Road.
FORGERY
- A Patriot Boulevard resident reported at 12:48 p.m. April 5, a check mailed at the Glenview U.S. Post Office, 1400 Patriot Blvd., was cashed for the same amount but in a different name.
- A Bellwood Lane resident called police at 6:33 p.m. April 10, to report four checks they mailed at the Glenview U.S. Post Office, 1400 Patriot Blvd., were cashed to different people for the same amounts.
THEFT BY DECEPTION
A Waukegan Road resident reported at 1:33 p.m. April 5, receiving a phone call from “Rachel” who represented herself as an employee of ComEd. “Rachel” demanded cash cards and gift cards in order to not shut down the resident’s account.
CRIMINAL DAMAGE
An employee of a business in the 1800 block of Glenview Road called police at 3:33 p.m. April 9, to report two broken windows and seeing two juveniles running from the business.
SUSPENDED DRIVER'S LICENSE
- A Northfield resident was cited at 8:27 p.m. April 9, for driving while license suspended, speeding, following a traffic stop in the 600 block of Waukegan Road.
- An Evanston resident was cited at 9:41 p.m. April 9, for driving while license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle, expired registration, following a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue.
NO VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE
A Glenview resident was cited at 8:09 p.m. April 10, for no valid driver's license, disobeying a stop sign, following a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Patriot Boulevard.
