ANTIOCH, IL — The Lake County Coroner's Office has identified a man and woman killed when a utility terrain vehicle collided with a tree in unincorporated Antioch Tuesday night. The driver of the UTV, Brian Capaci, 56, and a front seat passenger in the UTV, Jeanette Granger, 50, were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the UTV was headed west on West Dressel Road near Douglas Road at about 9:45 p.m. when the vehicle veered off the south side of the road and hit a large tree, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Neither Capaci or Granger were wearing helmets at the time of the collision. They also were not wearing their seatbelts, authorities said.
