Alleghany Road Closure Begins Next Week.
Alleghany Road will close to through traffic from Peterson Road to Route 120 from Aug. 26 - Sept. 4.
Alleghany Road will close to through traffic from Peterson Road to Route 120 beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26 through Friday, September 4 for Metra to repair the railroad crossing.
A detour will take drivers from Peterson Road to Route 83 to Route 137 to Route 120.
