Blind Man Sues Grayslake Car Dealership Over Alleged Bait-And-Switch

Lawsuit claims dealership changed terms during a new car purchase and took advantage of the buyer’s visual impairment.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — A blind North Chicago man has filed a lawsuit against a Grayslake car dealership, alleging employees used deceptive “bait-and-switch” tactics during his attempt to purchase a new vehicle, according to reports.

Jerry Bosley filed the suit in Lake County Circuit Court against City Chevrolet of Grayslake, according to Lake & McHenry County Scanner. The suit claims the dealership changed pricing and financing terms after initially advertising different terms for the sale, which resulted in the man paying more than $10,000 over the advertised vehicle price.
