LAKE COUNTY, IL — A man suffered second-degree burns to his face, neck and hands after a candle reportedly exploded Thursday evening at a mobile home park in unincorporated Antioch, fire officials said.
Antioch Fire Department crews responded around 9 p.m. July 16 to Dolphin Harbor Mobile Home Park, 26222 West Oak Avenue, for a report of a burn victim, the Lake & McHenry County Scanner is reporting. Fire Chief Ian Kazian said the man was treated by firefighter/medics and transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
The man suffered second-degree burns to face, neck and hands.
