Funeral Held For Round Lake Beach Mother Of Four Found Dead

ROUND LAKE, IL — Funeral services were held Friday for Laura Rodriguez-Vazquez, a 44-year-old Round Lake Beach mother of four who was found dead in a Round Lake townhome after being reported missing.

Rodriguez-Vazquez was found unresponsive on Aug. 3 at a home on Fieldstone Court, and an autopsy found no evidence of significant injuries, the Lake and McHenry County Scanner is reporting. Her cause and manner of death remain pending toxicology results.

Family members remembered her as a devoted mother whose caring personality and infectious smile "filled every room she entered," according to the article. A funeral was held at New Hope Church in Gurnee on Friday, followed by burial at Northshore Garden of Memories Cemetery in North Chicago.
