Authorities ID Teen Killed In Motorcycle Crash
Daniel McPherson, 19, of Round Lake Beach, was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday evening.
LAKE COUNTY, IL — Authorities have identified a 19-year-old Round Lake Beach man killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday as Daniel McPherson.
The collision happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Rollins Road west of Route 45 in Avon Township, according to a news release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office. When deputies arrived they found a 2006 Yamaha motorcycle near the ditch on the south side of the roadway.
McPherson was unconscious and not breathing, and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Preliminary autopsy results indicate McPherson died from blunt force injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash
Investigations Unit and Lake County Coroner’s Office.
