Back To School: Grayslake 2021-22 School Calendar
Parents in Grayslake can mark the first day of school coming later this summer.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Grayslake with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in District 127 and District 46.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Grayslake.
As for mask policies, District 46 is currently requiring masks for all students and staff. District 127 is reviewing its guidelines after issuing guidance last week that masks would not be mandated. The officials rules for masks is expected to be released next week.

- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-26
- Winter Break: Dec. 20-Jan. 3
- Spring Break: March 28-31
- Last Day: June 1
Community Consolidated School District 46
- First Day: Aug. 19 (for first through eight grades), Aug. 20 (for kindergarten students)
- Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 24-26
- Winter Break: Dec. 20-Jan. 3
- Spring Break: March 28-April 4
- Last Day: June 1
