...Final Thoughts...

The Red Sox should be the class of the MLB Regular Season in 2011 as they are the most complete team on the surface, however, I have the White Sox upsetting them in the ALCS and reaching the World Series to face-off against the defending champion Giants.

You should never count out the Gigantes with the pitching they have but they will succumb to a team of destiny. While the vaunted rotation of the Phillies seemed to get all the attention they have a lot of health and/or performance concerns in other important areas of their roster which will ultimately be their downfall in the end and barring a major trade the Yankees do not have the horses in the rotation to go deep in the postseason.

The Athletics, Reds, and Rockies are just a few players short of being legitimate World Series contenders in 2011. Predictions are always difficult and sometimes boring but make no mistake about it the 2011 MLB season will be very entertaining and exciting from beginning to end with the South Siders of Chicago hoisting the World Series trophy for the 2nd time in 7 seasons.

My predictions right now:

Indians vs Angels - Angels win American League Championship

Rockies vs Cardinals - Cardinals win National League Championship

World Series - Cardinals win World Series

Let's see if I am right. By the way I HATE all these teams so there is no favoritism here.
