Professional Baseball Really!!!

I have been a professional baseball fan as long as I can remember. I used to sit at the Cubs and Whit Sox games with my grandfather and he would tell me all the stories of the heroes of yesterday. What has baseball become?

Men making a living playing a child's game and getting paid millions of dollars to do so...200 batting averages and bad fielding, simple mechanics...all gone.

Everyone talks about the best 5 tool players out there but all I see is 2 and 3 tool players. It seems that it is OK now to hit .250 or less if you can hit the ball a country mile and have 30 plus home runs. Really?

A million dollars to hit below .250, never make an All-Star game and really just suck. When are the owners going to stop paying for this bad talent in corporate America? If you were a below average employee, you would be shown the door.

Dear Mr. Baseball God, stop trying to make excuses for your watered down pro baseball. it has made this baseball fan tired of watching a once great sport.
