Celebrate Grayslake's 125th Anniversary With History Trail Stroll

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Grayslake is turned 125 years old this year and village and chamber officials are encouraging residents to celebrate the anniversary with a stroll or bike ride on a "history trail."

The Grayslake Chamber of Commerce will hand out $100 in "Chamber Bucks," which is money that can be used at any business in Grayslake that is a chamber member, to five people who visit all 25 locations on the history trail by Aug. 22 and take a selfie.

A guide book for the history trail can be found online. A paper copy can also be picked up at the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum.
