Crash Causes Major Delays On Route 120 Near Route 45

GRAYSLAKE, IL — A traffic crash is causing significant delays Monday afternoon on westbound Illinois Route 120 just east of Illinois Route 45.

Officials are urging drivers to avoid the area for the next 30 to 45 minutes while emergency crews respond and work to clear the scene, police said Monday evening.

Motorists traveling westbound are encouraged to take alternate routes, such as Peterson Road or Washington Street, to avoid delays.
