Cubs Corn Maze: 'World's Largest' Maze Pays Tribute To World Series Champs
Richardson Farm has a long history of attention-getting mazes.

SPRING GROVE, IL — From the Beatles to the Blackhawks, an Illinois farm has a history of amazing mazes. This year, Richardson Adventure Farm's corn maze pays tribute to 2016 World Series champs, the Chicago Cubs. The 28-acre maze — proclaimed by the farm as the world's largest and most intricate — opened Sept. 2.
Guests looking for some fall fun are invited to try their luck navigating the corn creation, which is actually formed from four smaller mazes, according to Richardson farm. This year's maze features the Chicago Cubs logo, a giant baseball, the famous Wrigley Field marquee, the likeness of legendary Cubs announcer Harry Caray (and his signature "Holy cow!" catchphrase), the outfield ivy, two ballplayers and the Chicago skyline.
Along with the maze, there's plenty of fall fun to be had at the adventure farm, including a pumpkin patch, pig races, picnic areas, a campfire site, giant slides, a 50-foot observation tower, wagon rides and ORBiting, which allows guests to take a ride down a hill inside a giant, 11-foot ball.
