CYN Counseling Center’s Annual Holiday Gift Drive

CYN Counseling Center, a dedicated provider of mental health therapy and support in Grayslake, invites the community to make the holiday season brighter for local children and teens by contributing gifts to our holiday gift drive. For many years, this cherished event has helped bring warmth and joy to families across the region, delivering meaningful holiday experiences through community generosity.

As families navigate the unique challenges of this season, CYN’s Holiday Gift Drive offers a way for community members to join together in support. Known for its dedication to mental health and family services, CYN is calling on friends, neighbors, and supporters to help fill this season with comfort and cheer.

“We are honored to serve as a beacon of support and mental wellness in our community,” said Gail Weil, Executive Director of CYN. “This annual gift drive provides an opportunity to remind our local youth and families that they are surrounded by a caring community. Each contribution makes a profound difference in showing how much they matter.”

How to Get Involved

Participating in the Gift Drive is simple, and CYN encourages everyone to join:

1. REGISTER: Sign up on CYN’s Holiday Gift Drive page: CYN HOLIDAY GIFT DRIVE (Link to be updated).
2. SHOP: Select new, unwrapped gifts from a curated wish list of items that bring warmth and joy to local youth.
3. DELIVER: Drop off your donations at the CYN by December 6.

All donations will directly support families in the region, helping to make the holiday season special for many children and teens. This annual Gift Drive is one of many ways CYN Ccontributes to the well-being of Lake and McHenry Counties, with year-round programs including individual and family therapy, school-based counseling, and crisis support. Through its extensive community outreach, CYN serves over 3,000 families annually with essential services, reflecting a commitment to community mental health and family resilience.
