D127 To Vote On Remote Learning Plan Thursday
The District 127 Board of Education will meet Thursday to decide on its return to school plan.
GRAYSLAKE, IL — The District 127 Board of Education is expected to vote Thursday on whether to move forward with a plan to return to school with remote learning in place, superintendent Mikkel . School administrators have recommended e-learning over a hybrid or in-person model after deciding there were "too many health concerns to safely bring staff and students into the buildings for instruction," according to the District 127 website.
Administrators are recommending Grayslake North and Central students return with remote learning in place through the first quarter. The district may implement its hybrid model in the second quarter "depending on the health situation in the community," according to the D127 website.
The D127 Board of Education meeting is set to start at 7 p.m. on July 30. Those interested in attending can join via teleconference at 312-626-6799. The pin number for the conference is 8608672 2464. The meeting will also be broadcast via Zoom.
