Foundation46 will host its 2nd Annual Taste of Enrichment event on May 3rd at Brae Loch Golf Course to benefit D46 schools and their fine arts programs! This year you can test your skills on the links, tantalize your taste buds with wine and hors d'oeuvres, and immerse yourself in our community culture by perusing artwork made by students and members of our very own District 46 community! Nine, Wine and Fine Arts will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Brae Loch Golf Club in Grayslake. Gather up your friends for 9 holes of golf that will include fun games and fantastic prizes! Your team can then join us for our wine tasting and auction event!
Not Tiger Woods? That’s okay too! Join us for an evening of wine & beer tasting and live music by The Mojo Daddies. Dave Woll of Memory Makers Entertainment will act as auctioneer for live auction items include Dining, Golf, and Summer BBQ packages. Silent auction items will feature the work of our very own local artists, teachers and students of District 46! All funds from auction items created by D46 students and teachers will go directly back to that particular school’s art program. Funds from art pieces donated by local artisans will be applied exclusively toward grants to support the fine arts. All other event proceeds will help support the Foundation’s staff and student grant programs.

Already this school year, Foundation46 has awarded over $10,000 in grants to D46 staff and students in addition to supporting the Destination Imagination program and contributing $8,000 to a fund to increase tablet technology in the classrooms. Help Foundation46 further its progress toward its mission of enriching and enhancing the educational experience offered to D46 students by participating in this fantastic event!
