District 46 To Distribute Chromebooks This Week
Families of students enrolled at District 46 schools can attend one of the planned sessions to pick up their device.

GRAYSLAKE, IL -- District 46 officials will begin handing out Chromebooks to students this week. The Community Consolidated School District 46 Board of Education approved its one-to-one technology initiative, which means all full-time students can 3rd through 8th grades will receive Lenovo 500e Chromebooks. The devices will be handed out at five different sessions this week.
In order for students to receive a Chromebook, a parent or guardian and child must attend an informational meeting and sign a student/parent handbook agreement.
Students enrolled at Avon Center School, Meadowivew School, Woodview School, Prairieview School, Frederick School, and Grayslake Middle School may choose from one of the following sessions at Frederick School, 595 Frederick Road in Grayslake, to pick up their Chromebook:

- Monday, Jan. 14 at 4 or 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, Jan. 15, at 6:30 p.m.
Families with students attending Park Campus may pick up their device at 7:45 a.m. or 6 p.m. at Park Campus, 400 W. Townline Road in Round Lake.
