Downtown Grayslake Holiday Windows Competition Underway

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Downtown Grayslake businesses have decked out their windows as part of a holiday competition taking place this year.

Visit Grayslake has partnered with the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum to host the Holiday Window Competition throughout downtown Grayslake. Participating businesses include:

• A Matter of Style
• Affordable Interiors
• Alwin Anthony Salon Spaces
• Bella Vie Studio
• First Draft Grayslake
• Glam Street Salon
• Grayslake Feed Sales
• Hering Homes Team, @ Properties
• Light the Lamp
• Noote Partners x Compass
• Romney Brown Candle Company
• Somethings Brewing
• The Alwin Event Space/Salon Studios
• This Old Book, Inc.
• Tiffany Brooks Interiors, Inc.

Residents can stroll downtown and vote for their favorite decorations in person and online. Voting started last week. You can vote for the business in person by dropping a voting slip into their ballot box. If you are not able to go inside you can also visit the Grayslake Heritage Center & Museum, which will have a ballot box for every participating business.

Voting is also taking place online. You can go here to give your favorite business a "like." Voting will wrap up on Jan. 1.
