Early Childhood Essentials Discussed at Forum

The forum will take place on Thursday morning in Lake County.

LAKE COUNTY, IL β€” Lake County State’s Attorney Michael Nerheim, Fight Crime: Invest in Kids Illinois, and the Erikson Institute is hosting a forum on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 8:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. The forum, entitled β€œEarly Childhood Essentials in Lake County,” will take place in the A Wing, lower level conference room A013, at the College of Lake County, 19351 W. Washington Street in Grayslake, according to a news release.

The event will be hosted by Nerheim and include keynote speaker Geoffrey A. Nagle, President and CEO of the Erikson Institute. Nagle is an internationally recognized expert in the early childhood initiatives, and the forum will give listeners a great opportunity to hear him speak on issues surrounding the brain science behind early childhood essentials.

Lake County leaders and the community have long come together to support early childhood development and education. The forum is free and open to the public.
