Elderly Grayslake Man Still Missing; Reward Offered
Dale Kropke went missing on March 4. Authorities and his friends and family are continuing to search for him.

LIBERTYVILLE, IL – Authorities in Lake County continue to search for a missing elderly man. The 76-year-old Grayslake man was last spotted heading to a doctor's appointment at nearby Condell Medical Center in Libertyville on the morning of March 4. Dale Kropke never showed up for his checkup and hasn't been seen since.
“It’s almost like he’s vanished,” Sean Kropke, Dale Kropke’s son, told WGN News “We’ve got to prepare ourselves for the worst, so I’m just praying and hoping that – first off – that he’s ok, but let’s face it, it might not be good.”
Kropke's friends and family are now offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads them to Kropke, according to WGN.

Kropke's 2010, four-door gold Toyota Prius was spotted driving past the Grayslake Fire Station 3 at 9:36 a.m. on March, according to a post on the Grayslake Fire Protection District Facebook page, and video captured the vehicle. Kropke lives in the nearby Saddlebrook Farms development. His license plate read: "BANI1."
Kropke is described as being 6-feet-tall with gray hair, blue eyes and light complexion. He uses a walker to help him get around.
