The 12 Oaks Foundation was started in memory of Matt Hupp, a
Grayslake resident, who lost his fight with cancer at age 13. He fought his
battle with the steely determination of a true competitor and inspired us all.
As a tribute to Matt and in gratitude to the community that helped the family through
it all, 12 Oaks Foundation was born. 12 Oaks provides grants to families in
need so that their kids won’t miss the chance to follow their dreams through
the sports and extracurricular activities they love.
