Federal tax credits will make improvements at a subsidized apartment complex in Grayslake possible, according to the Daily Herald.Â
The Lakewood Village complex in Grayslake at 125 Glen St. — as well as a Lakewood Village complex in Island lake — are among nine projects that will receive federal tax credits, which will consist of a $3.5 million rehab investment, according to the article.
Both buildings were built about 30 years ago and improvements will include a new roof, siding, paint and a community garden, according to the Daily Herald.Â
