Friday Night Piano Bar Comes to Gurnee This Week
Live requests, sing-alongs, Fish Fry specials, BBQ, and piano favorites at American Legion Post 771
GURNEE, IL — Looking for Friday night plans?
The Lake County Symphony Orchestra is bringing a different kind of live music event to Gurnee this week with Piano Bar Classics featuring pianist and vocalist Alyse Merry.
The event takes place Friday, June 5 from 5:00–7:00 PM at Gurnee American Legion Post 771 on Milwaukee Avenue.

Unlike a traditional concert, Piano Bar Classics is built around audience interaction. Guests can request songs throughout the evening while enjoying live piano, vocals, sing-alongs, drinks, and food in a relaxed social setting.
The program features music people actually know — from Billy Joel and Elton John to Journey, Queen, Sinatra, Adele, and Taylor Swift.

The event will also feature a Friday Fish Fry and BBQ menu from JR Smokehouse BBQ, which operates inside Post 771.
“We wanted this to feel like a fun Friday night out,” organizers said. “Good music, familiar songs, food, drinks, and a room where people can relax and have fun together.”
Doors open at 4:30 PM.
Tickets are $30 and seating is limited.
