Going Back to School as an Adult? We Have Extra Help!

Going to school is a commitment for anyone, but for adults, the realities of time, money, and years away from the classroom can make the task a daunting one.

IGEN Career Pathways is developing new online programs in sustainability plus a special component to help smooth the transition for adults, Your College Link.

Seventeen community colleges in Illinois, including the College of Lake County, are part of the state-wide IGEN consortium that received funding  from the Department of Labor TAACCCT for the additional programs and transition resources.

All adults residing in the CLC district are eligible to participate in Your College Link.  Our services are free, accessible online, with two special programs available on the Grayslake campus.

Within the next few weeks, our Student Success Portal (SSP) will begin operation. SSP will link adults interested in returning to college with resources to ensure success plus a coach to offer personal assistance, answer questions about college, and provide links to resources.
