Grayslake Aquatic Center Set To Open This Weekend
The aquatic center is set to open on Saturday and will remain open most days through Sept. 5.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — The Esper A. Peterson Foundation Family Aquatic Center in Grayslake is set to open this weekend for the summer season.
The pool will be open from 12 to 8 p.m. everyday starting on Saturday and continuing through Monday. The pool will close for June 1 through 3 before reopening for 12 to 8 p.m. on June 4 through Aug. 14—and members can visit the pool an hour early at 11 a.m. on Fridays through Sundays.
The library will move to abbreviated hours on Aug. 14 before officially closing on Sept. 5 for the season.

The aquatic center has a sand play area, water play features, zero-depth entry, a frog slide, a 120-foot body slide, 180-foot body slide, in-pool climbing wall, basketball hoop, lap lanes and a concession area.
Those interested in purchasing a season membership for the aquatic center are currently $95, according to the park district. There is no fee for children 2 years old and younger.
