Grayslake Art Festival Organizers Consider Changes for 2017 Fest

The festival could include wine tastings and may be held over a different weekend next year.

Competition from area festivals, including Libertyville Days; hot weather; and a festival that falls on Father’s Day weekend may have contributed to low attendance at Grayslake's 21st annual Arts Festival on Saturday, festival officials told the Daily Herald.

Phil Bruno, the festival's chairman, told the newspaper plans are already in the works to change things up for 2017. The festival may be moved to a different weekend and wine tastings could be added to the festival’s mix of live music and art vendors.
