Grayslake Central Headed to State Semis Friday

Grayslake Central's baseball team is headed to the state semi-finals.
The team beat Fenwick 2-1 Monday at North Central College in Naperville to earn the trip to the Class 3A state semi-finals, according to the Illinois High School Association website.
This is the third time in five years — and the second year in a row — the Rams will be headed to the Final Four State tournament in Joliet, according to the Lake County News-Sun.
Grayslake will next play Springfield's Sacred Heart-Griffin on Friday at noon at Silver Cross Field in Joliet, according to the IHSA website. The "powerhouse" team has a 37-3 record, according to the Lake County News-Sun.
