Grayslake Central to Present 'Sideways Stories' Production

ENCORE!, the theatre company of Grayslake Central, would like to invite you and your family to our winter production, Sideways Stories From Wayside School.  The show runs Nov. 14-17. Based on Louis Sachar’s popular children’s books from the 80s and 90s, Sideways Stories is fun for the entire family:

The Wayside School architect made a mistake: instead of building all 30 classrooms on the same floor, he stacked them on top of each other!  Up on the 30th floor, mean Mrs. Gorf keeps order by turning her unruly students into apples, until one day, something goes terribly wrong.  Hypnotic pigtails, lessons in tango-dancing, and a Super Mario-themed hallway obstacle course are just some of the strange occurrences you’ll find at Wayside School.  Join the wacky students of the 30th floor, the Wayside Players,  and a host of other characters as they tackle 2ndgrade at the craziest school in the world!
