Grayslake Hosts Downtown Trick-or-Treating, Open House This Weekend

You can stop out between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Halloween festivities will be under way this weekend in Grayslake.

The 2016 Chamber of Commerce will host its Business Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Grayslake, according to a news release.

In conjunction with this event, the village will hold its annual open house where residents can visit the village hall, 10 Seymour Ave., see the famous snowglobe collection, have a balloon animal made by the balloonist, take your pictures with a public works truck or sit in a Police Department squad vehicle.

There will be carnival games, candy and more.

Residential trick-or-treating hours have been set for 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, October 31.
