Grayslake Park District Moves Youth Volleyball Outdoors
Instead of playing in a gym, the youth volleyball teams will play outdoors in the sand this fall.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — The village of Grayslake will be moving its youth volleyball outdoors this fall to keep in line with guidelines set up by the state to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The sand volleyball leagues will play at Jones Island or Sunrise Park, according to a post on the Grayslake Park District Facebook page.
Volleyball will follow the All Sports Policy outlined in the Restore Illinois Plan, which allows intra-team scrimmages but does not allow competitive play. Teams will practice together during the week and then scrimmage each other on Saturdays, according to the Grayslake Park District post.
