Grayslake Sets Trick-or-Treating Hours for This Halloween

It’s almost that time of year again.

Halloween is right around the corner and the village of Grayslake has set this year’s trick-or-treating hours for 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.

Below are some recommended Halloween safety tips from the Grayslake Police Department:

• Only “trick or treat” in neighborhoods and houses you are familiar with.
• ”Trick or treat” in groups or with parents/guardians.
• Do not wear costumes that obstruct your vision or are tripping hazards.
• Only cross the street at intersections and be watchful of road traffic.
• Do not enter a home to receive a treat.
• Accept only wrapped or sealed treats.
