Grayslake Summer Reading Program Goes Digital

From Grayslake Library: This summer the Grayslake Area Public Library District is offering Beanstack, an online tool, to streamline the registering and tracking of summer reading. Everyone who signs up for our 2019 Summer Reading program on Beanstack by May 31, 2019 will be entered to win four season passes to the Grayslake Aquatic Center.

We are launching our all-ages summer reading program, Expand Your Universe, out of this world with Beanstack! Beanstack offers a fun, interactive alternative to the paper log for summer reading. With an easy-to-use mobile app keeping track of summer reading will be a breeze for everyone. Families can even manage all readers from one account! Summer Reading helps kids and teens avoid "summer slide," and helps them return to the joy of reading for pleasure. It gives parents and kids an excuse to read or listen to books together, and it gives adults a reason to explore new books and authors.

Read what you want, when you want, and enjoy out of this world activities to Expand Your Universe this summer! Summer Reading officially blasts off on June 1st, and will touch down at our Finale Party on August 12th.
