Grayslake Village Council to Vote on New Townhomes in Lake Street Square Subdivision
If approved, 84 new townhome units could be built in the subdivision.

The Grayslake Village Council will vote Tuesday night on an agreement with a developer to construct 84 new townhome units in the Lake Street Square subdivision in Grayslake, village officials said.
The village council will vote on an implementation agreement with Ryland Homes/Cal Atlantic Homes to construction the townhomes on vacant lots on the west end of the subdivision, which is located west of Lake Street near the Lake Street Metra station, Assistant to the Village Manager Kevin Timony said in an e-mail.
The implementation agreement would confirm various items from the original development agreement, which was implemented in 2003, relating to infrastructure improvements, buildings codes and landscaping, Timony said.

If the village council approves the agreement, construction could start this spring, Timony said.
The Grayslake Village Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at village hall, 10 S. Seymour Ave.Â
