A Growing YWCA Moves Locations

The YWCA Lake County, has relocated their main office to the Tri State Corporate Park located at 1425 Tri State Parkway, Suite 180 in Gurnee, Illinois.

“We are growing and expanding throughout Lake County”, said Executive Director, Janice Bennett.  Our satellite locations in Round Lake Beach and Waukegan, will maintain scheduled hours of operation that will facilitate our clients in the north-eastern corridor.

The YWCA Lake County is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. Programs focus on women, girls and their families to help them achieve economic self-sufficiency through mission based programs such as: women’s economic advancement, parent services/family management, women and girls health, youth leadership development/after school programs, and social justice.

YWCA Lake County hours of operation:  Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Walk-In Consultation – Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. For more information check out their website or call 847-662-4247.
