Hainesville Man, 18, Fatally Shot In Waukegan

WAUKEGAN, IL — An 18-year-old Hainesville man was fatally shot over the weekend at an apartment complex in the 500 block of South Genesee Street in Waukegan.

Authorities said they were called to the complex at about 9 p.m. Saturday and found several spent shell casings and a gun at the scene, the Daily Herald is reporting. They learned the 18-year-old Hainesville man, who was seriously injured in the shooting, was dropped off at a hospital a short time later.

Police said the teen died Sunday, according to the article.
