Hundreds To Attend Grayslake Middle School Cut & Shave Fundraiser

The fifth annual Cut & Shave Fundraiser for the St. Baldrick's Foundation supporting childhood cancer research will be held on April 27.

GRAYSLAKE, IL - From Community Consolidated School District 46: Grayslake Middle School is holding their fifth annual Cut & Shave Fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation supporting childhood cancer research. Over 700 students will be in attendance for the morning assembly where students, staff members, and community members will cut their hair or shave their heads for charity. All cut hair will be donated to β€œPantene Beautiful Lengths” and monetary donations will support β€œSt. Baldrick’s Foundation.”

Additionally, community members can attend from 1:00-6:00 pm for a cut or shave. Grayslake Middle School has set a $30,000 fundraising goal this year in hopes to eclipse a $100,000 5-year donation total. WHEN: Friday, April 27, 2017, Student Assembly begins at 9:00 AM. Doors open to the public from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
