Illinois 83 Closed At Railroad Crossing In Grayslake
A detour will direct motorists to Peterson Road, Midlothian Road and Buckley Road. The work is expected to be complete by Oct. 16.
The Illinois Department of Transportation announced that repairs to the Metra Milwaukee District North Line crossing on IL 83 (Ivanhoe Road) south of IL 137 (Buckley Road) in Grayslake will require a full closure starting at 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8.
A detour will direct motorists to Peterson Road, Midlothian Road and Buckley Road. The work is expected to be complete by 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15. More information.
