Lake Co. Blotter: DUI On Boat, Endangering Life Of Child

LAKE COUNTY, IL — The Lake County Sheriff's Office has released its weekly arrest report. Here is a look at some of the arrests local authorities made in the past week:

Jermaine T. Sheppard, 26, of the 300 block of West Lakeside Drive in Vernon Hills, was arrested on a warrant on an aggravated battery of a police officer charge on Aug. 17. He was taken into custody in the 300 block of West Lakeside Drive in Vernon Hills. His bond has been set at $20,000, and he is next expected in court on Sept. 23.

John J. Ramey, Jr., 23, of Beach Park, was arrested on Aug. 18 and charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest. He was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Aug. 28.

Brande Kizzee, 44, of Mt. Vernon, was arrested on Aug. 18 in the 4700 block of Royal Melbourne Drive in Long Grove on a warrant for a driving under the influence charge out of East Hazel Crest. Kizzee's bail was set at $10,000.

Kristina M. Barone, 35, of the 200 block of Anita Terrace in Antioch, was arrested on Aug. 18 on a warrant on a theft charge. Bail for Barone was set at $300,000, and she is next expected in court on Aug. 25.

Willie Neals, 40, of the 37900 block of North Wilson Avenue in Beach Park, is charged with resisting a peace officer and released on a recognizance bond. He was arrested on Aug. 19 in the 37900 block of North Wilson Avenue in Beach Park and is next expected in court on Sept. 21.

Shemar T. Garrett, 22, of Beach Park, was arrested on Aug. 19 in Beach Park and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Garrett's bond was set at $5,000, and he is next expected in court on Aug. 26.

Manuel Reyes, 47, of the 500 block of Niagara Drive in Volo, was arrested on Aug. 19 on a warrant for contempt of court. Reyes' bond was set at $4,000, and he is next expected in court on Aug. 31.

Dennis Poetsch, 54, of the 35100 block of North Gilmer Road in Volo, was arrested on Aug. 19 at Route 12 and Russel Road in Volo and charged with driving under the influence-alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and illegal transportation of marijuana. Poetsch was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 23.

Denoris W. Beal, 37, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was arrested on Aug. 19 on Interstate 94 at mile marker 5 in Wadsworth for driving under the influence-drugs and driving while registration suspended. Beal was released on a personal recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Oct. 14.

Jenna M. Ivers, 25, of the 18400 block of Woodland Terrace in unincorporated Gurnee, was arrested on Aug. 20 in the 18400 block of Woodland Terrace in unincorporated Gurnee and charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, resisting a peace officer and criminal damage to property. Her bond was set at $50,000, and she is next expected in court on Sept. 17.

Tiffany A. Broude, 37, of the 100 block of Hickory Drive in Carpentersville, was arrested on Aug. 21 in the 22000 block of North Kelsey Road in Lake Barrington on a warrant for a traffic offense. Her bail was set at $5,000.

Chevy R. Allen-Wadelton, 20, of Waukegan, was charged on Aug. 21 while at the Lake County Jail for criminal damage to state supported property. He is expected in court on Sept. 15.

Twan D. Daniels-Robinson, 31, of the 1900 block of Dodge Avenue in Evanston, was arrested on Aug. 21 in the 1 to 100 block of South Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Waukegan on a warrant for reckless driving. Daniels-Robinson was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 10.

Amber M. Dexter, 29, of Ingleside, was arrested in Ingleside on Aug. 21 on a warrant for domestic battery. He was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 14.

Robert A. Van Dyke, 35, of the 3400 block of West Harrison Street in Chicago, was arrested on a warrant on retail theft and enhanced retail theft charges in the 800 block of S. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville on Aug. 21. His bond was set at $50,000, and he is next expected in court on Aug. 26.

Katina L. Castro, 39, of the 100 block of Belmont Avenue in Lake Villa, was arrested on Aug. 22 in the 25200 block of Route 60 in unincorporated Grayslake for endangering the life of a child. Castro was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 21.

Dakota J. Hackney, 27, of the 27800 block of Route 173 in unincorporated Antioch, was arrested on Aug. 22 in the 27800 block of Route 173 in unincorporated Antioch and charged with theft. Hackney was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 8.

Gregory D. Flesher, 57, of the 40900 block of N. Green Bay Road in Beach Park, was arrested on Aug. 22 in the 40900 block of N. Green Bay Road in Beach Park and charged with driving under the influence-alcohol. Flesher's recognizance bond was set at $3,000, and he is next expected in court on Sept. 30.

Angela M. Grecian, 31, of the 1400 block of Birchwood Lane in Gurnee, was arrested on Aug. 22 at Gages Lake Road and Gagewood Lane in unincorporated Grayslake and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving while license revoked. Grecian was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Oct. 7.

Alfonso Nochebuena-Rios, 36, of the 600 block of North Jackson Street in Waukegan, was arrested on Aug. 22 in the 26200 block of North Route 83 in unincorporated Mundelein and charged with DUI-alcohol, no insurance, illegal transportation of alcohol and no driver's license. Nochebuena-Rios was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Sept. 23.

Jeffrey E. Lloyd, 49, of the 25300 block of Route 173 in unincorporated Antioch, was arrested on Aug. 22 on Bluff Lake in the Long Channel and charged with operating a watercraft while under the influence of alcohol and careless operation of a watercraft. Lloyd was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Oct. 21.

Jermaine L. McNeil, 38, of the 200 block of Hobble Bush Drive in Lake Zurich, was arrested on Aug. 23 at Fairfield Road and Gossell Road in unincorporated Wauconda and charged with DUI-combo alcohol/drugs and no insurance. McNeil was released on a recognizance bond and is next expected in court on Nov. 25.

Michael T. Fritz, 46, was arrested on Aug. 23 in the 800 block of S. Milwaukee Avenue in Libertyville, on a warrant for criminal trespass to a building and criminal trespass to land. Bond for Fritz was set at $10,000, and he is next expected in court on Aug. 26.

Frederick Straza, 38, of the 23500 block of North Cottage Road in unincorporated Lake Zurich, was arrested on Aug. 23 in the 23500 block of North Cottage Road in Lake Zurich and charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and domestic battery. Bail was set at $100,000 for Straza, and he is next expected in court on Aug. 25.
