Lake Co. DOT Wants Your Input on Transportation Needs
A paratransit market study will soon be under way in Lake County and the public is invited to community meetings.

A Paratransit Market Study will soon be under way in Lake County to evaluate the range of available services, identify gaps in service relative to community needs, and recommend improvements. Paratransit services refers to flexible transportation services that are geared toward seniors and people with disabilities.
The Lake County Division of Transportation will be hosting upcoming community meetings for residents and are welcoming questions and feedback.
Community Meetings
- Jan 17 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, 2006 N. Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach
- Jan. 17 from 3 to 5 p.m.: Waukegan Township Park Place Senior Center, 414 South Lewis Avenue, Waukegan
- Jan. 18 from 2 to 4 p.m.: Libertyville Township Office, 359 Merrill Court, Libertyville
- Jan. 19 from 9 to 11 a.m.: Wauconda Township Office, 505 West Bonner Road, Wauconda
The meetings will be conducted in an informal, open house format so feel free to attend at any time during a session. Project representatives will be present to discuss the study and answer any questions on an individual basis. The same information will be provided at all four meetings.
