Lake County Auction: Surplus Equipment, Unclaimed Property For Sale

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Area municipalities and government agencies are auctioning off surplus equipment – including cars, trucks, vans, plows, trailers and more – at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Grayslake on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 9 a.m.

The auction will also include unclaimed property that has been found in Lake County Forest Preserves, like bicycles, clothing, electronics and other items currently in the possession of the Lake County Forest Preserve Ranger Police Department.

The sales are being managed by Obenauf Auction Service, and all items will be sold as-is.

Inspection and registration is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27.
