Lake County Sheriff Puts Moratorium on Evictions Through Holidays

The Lake County Sheriff has called for a moratorium on all evictions through the holidays.

“Times are tough for a lot of folks and there’s no need to add to life’s challenges with an eviction during the holidays,” said Sheriff Mark Curran when announcing the moratorium on Thursday.

The moratorium should continue through Jan. 5.
