On Saturday January 11th 2014, our Special Recreation Services of NorthernLake County Round Lake Jr. Superstars Special Olympics Basketball teamcompeted in the Sectional Tournament in Cicero IL at Unity Junior HighSchool with over 50 other teams. The team won their first game 33-10 andtheir second game 22-8. The SRSNLC: Round Lake Jr. Superstars won firstplace in their division and received Gold Medals as well as a First PlaceTrophy.
Our athletes will now be competing in the Special Olympics State BasketballTournament the weekend of March 14th-16th 2014 in Bloomington/Normal IL forthe SECOND year in a row!
