ROUND LAKE PARK, IL —The Round Lake Park Police Department is teaming-up with local law enforcement for the annual clothing collection drive supporting U.S. veterans. The drive seeks to collect winter coats, jackets and other seasonal apparel for veterans throughout the Lake County region, according to a news release.

“Anything we can do to assist our veterans facing a variety of problems when returning from active service or those that have previously served is a moral obligation," according to the news release. "This is a great opportunity to show our appreciation in a very meaningful way. After all, every American owes our way of life to the service of our vets.”

A drop off box is located in the lobby of the police department located at 215 E. Main Street, Round Lake Park.
