Local Seniors Weigh In On State Issues at Yingling Forum

ROUND LAKE BEACH, Ill. – Forty-two local seniors joined state Rep. Sam Yingling, D-Grayslake, for his senior issues citizen advisory committee meeting on Thursday.

“In addition to speaking about the various state programs and agencies offered to our aging community, this forum was a great opportunity to speak with constituents about legislation I sponsored to lower burdensome taxes on our seniors answer their questions,” Yingling said. “Hearing directly from constituents at events such as this provides me with valuable information as the legislature convenes again this month.”
