Major Saver Offers Big Discounts at Local Businesses

The small card with BIG results is available once again!

Foundation46 is offering Major Saver cards for sale through the CCSD 46 K-8 schools.  Students will receive the sales packets starting on Thursday, April 3rd and will be selling the $15 Buy One, Get One Free offer cards until Wednesday, April 16th.  Proceeds from the sales of the discount cards directly support the participating schools and the activities of Foundation46.  Last year, the Foundation and participating schools raised over $13,200 through the sale of Major Saver cards. This enabled the Foundation to contribute $8,000 to a fund for tablet technology in the classrooms while also awarding over $10,000 in grants to D46 staff and students. Foundation46 also sponsors the D46 Destination Imagination program.  

The 2014 participating businesses include Rosati’s, Tastee Freez, Penn Station Subs, Arby’s, Emil’s, Smokey’s BBQ, That Pasta Place, Domino’s, Something Brewing, Sammie’s, Pizza Hut, Kristof’s, Dog ’N Suds, Uniquely Sweet, Family Video, The Vine and Jump America. The card is designed so that just two uses of the card allow the buyer to recoup the $15 cost of the card.

Major Saver cards can be viewed and purchased via cash, check or online at www.majorsaver.com from local K-8 school students.  Major Saver cards purchased online can be credited back to a particular student and school.  All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer.  

Major Saver discourages students from going door to door and stresses safe selling techniques during their presentation. The company encourages students to sell to parents, grandparents, church patrons, family friends, and to always make sure their parents are involved.  Major Saver is a proud member of the Association of Fundraising Distributors & Suppliers (AFRDS).
