Man Breaks Glass Door At Gaming Cafe, Steals Cash Register
The 36-year-old man was arrested in the area of the Third Lake gaming cafe early Sunday.

THIRD LAKE, IL — A 36-year-old man faces charges for allegations he broke through the glass door at a gaming cafe in Third Lake early Sunday and stole a cash register.
Gilberto Mojarro-Garcia, who has no permanent address, is in custody and now faces several charges in connection with the burglary, police said.
Deputies with the Lake County Sheriff's Office were first called to the gaming cafe in the 34500 block of Route 45 at about 1:15 a.m. and found the glass front door had been shattered and also discovered fresh blood inside the cafe. Police also learned a neighboring business had been burglarized.

While searching the area, they found a man who had fresh cuts on his hands and armed and blood-stained clothing. Near him, they found a stolen and damaged cash register, police said.
Police used surveillance video footage to link Mojarro-Garcia to the crime, according to the news release. While in the police squad car, Mojarro-Garcia is accused of kicking the door.

Mojarra-Garcia is accused of kicking a deputy while he was being placed in custody and he was pepper-sprayed after his aggressive behavior continued to escalate, according to the news release.
Majarro-Garcia has been charged with two counts of burglary, aggravated battery to a police office, criminal damage to property, criminal damage to government property and resisting arrest.
He is custody at the Lake County Jail as he awaits an initial court hearing.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and working to determine if Majarro-Garcia was involved in separate burglaries reported in the same area last week, police said over the weekend.
