Mayor Taylor Pens Thanksgiving Message

"This year I am especially thankful for all of our frontline workers who have kept our grocery stores, hospitals, pharmacies and more open."

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope that you and your family have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.

This year I am especially thankful for all of our frontline workers who have kept our grocery stores, hospitals, pharmacies, supply chains and countless other businesses open; for our police officers; fire fighters; public works department and other first responders for their dedication to the health and safety of our community during this time.

The global pandemic has led to significant financial stress for many in our community, particularly our restaurant owners and their employees. I would like to thank all of you for patronizing our restaurants and businesses during this time and ask you to continue to do so as you are able.

I am thankful for the volunteer efforts of so many in our community to help those who are experiencing challenging times.
